Global third party logistics provider C.H. Robinson announces a new collaboration with Transflo, a leader in enterprise mobility, telematics and business process automation. The relationship brings a discounted ELD solution to support carriers in their efforts to become compliant with the ELD mandate.
“We understand the extensive time and cost that can be involved in equipping an entire fleet with ELD technology,” said Kevin Abbott, vice president of North American surface transportation at C.H. Robinson. “This collaboration helps carriers connect with an evolving ecosystem of shippers and loads and become part of the digital economy without making a significant capital investment.”
This offering provides carriers with a compact and easy to install electronic logging device. While this ELD solution supports all carriers, the data analytics and advanced functionality make it especially appealing to medium-sized carriers with fleets ranging from 11 to 400 trucks. This digital technology helps improve connectivity and agility for carrier business operations as well as enhances existing business relationships with both 3PLs and customers.
“We are working to simplify the purchase and implementation of ELD solutions for our carrier network,” shared Bruce Johnson, director of capacity development at C.H. Robinson. “C.H. Robinson contract carriers are familiar with the Transflo brand and recognize that our collaboration offers a simple yet comprehensive mobile and electronic logging solution.”
The Transflo ELD solution will be available throughout the C.H. Robinson North America network.
