Supply Chain Asia (SCA) has launched a web-based business simulation game called “The Fresh Connection”. The competition is open to tertiary students from polytechnics and universities in Singapore, as well as industry teams of corporate young professionals.

In the competition, participants, in teams of four, will have to make strategic decisions in managing a manufacturing company of fruit juices. They will take on the functional roles of sales, purchasing, supply chain and operations – tasked with the responsibility to pick the right suppliers, decide on warehouse capacity, make investment decisions, manage inventories and forecast demands. SCA has roped in the support of Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB) and Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).
