Maersk Gets New Head of Group Finance

Maersk has announced that Jan B. Kjaervik will be joining the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group on 1 September 2008 as Head of Group Finance, replacing Jørgen A. Engell, who retires after 35 years with the Group.

Jan B. Kjaervik (51) has been with Aker Solutions, Norway, since 2002; first as SVP & Group Treasurer and then as head of Corporate Enterprise Risk & Treasurer. During spring 2008 he has also been acting CFO.
