Vectura Outsources Warehousing and Distribution Services to Kuehne + Nagel

Vectura, a supplier of logistics services for producers, agents and importers of wine and spirits in Norway, has signed a three-year agreement to outsource warehousing and distribution activities at its Trondheim site to Kuehne + Nagel.

The latter will manage the 8,000 square meter facility which currently handles 11 million units per annum and has over 3,700 active stock keeping units. In addition, the company will select and manage the transport carriers that are used to undertake all deliveries from the Trondheim warehouse.

Under the terms of the agreement, Kuehne + Nagel is able to benefit from additional warehouse and office capacity at Trondheim that is not currently utilized by the Vectura operation. This idle space will be used to expand the Kuehne + Nagel’s network in Norway, offering warehousing, sea-, air and roadfreight services to new and existing customers.
