The Logistics & Supply Chain Management Society
The Regional Professional Body for Logistice Practitioners
LSCMS participated in the China International Logistics Fair (CILF) in Shenzhen in December 2009. The LSCMS China Chapter team was kept busy at its booth, fielding enquiries from many local professionals interested in the Society and professional development. Membership enquiries and applications are now being processed.

On Janury 18, LSCMS hosted its first education and networking event in mainland China, namely, an educational seminar in Shenzhen’s Futian district for the local freight and logistics community. The keynote address was delivered by China Chapter president Mark Millar, while LSCMS president Raymon Krishnan was on hand to deliver a one-hour session on Global Trends in Logistics.
Also in Shenzen, on January 19, M Power Associates conducted the inaugural LSCMS public training course – in association with local partner the Shenzhen Logistics & Supply Chain Management Association.
The one-day program focused on International Best Practices in Logistics Management and was delivered by leading international trainers from The Australian Logistics Academy. After the Chinese New Year holidays a similar educational session will be held in Xiamen on March 23, in partnership with the China Logistics Club.
