Telogis Takes First Place in Mobile Star Awards 2009

Telogis has been named a winner in the eighth annual Mobile Star Awards program hosted by mobile technology news portal MobileVillage.com.

The former took top honors in the category, Enterprise Software: GPS or Location Based Services, for Telogis OnTrack, a GPS fleet management application that helps organizations of maximize the efficiency of their mobile workforces and reduce operating costs.

The application features include Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL)/Global Positioning System (GPS), routing, navigation, satellite imagery, vehicle maintenance, and reporting and measures asset tracking metrics such as idle time, speed and engine on/off status.

The Mobile Star Awards showcases “best of” entries in various categories including mobile apps, enterprise mobile software, wireless network products, enterprise success stories, and mobile industry visionaries.
