Telogis Announces Expanded Global Mapping Contract with Navteq

Telogis has expanded its agreement with Navteq, a global provider of digital map, traffic and location data for in-vehicle, portable, wireless and enterprise solutions, on a global scale. The agreement is the culmination of a six-year relationship between the companies, and will incorporate all products within the latter’s global portfolio.

Navteq content is now expanded across the Telogis platform including real-time traffic information from Traffic, historical average traffic speeds via Traffic Patterns, and truck-specific attributes from Transport. The additional content enhances the Telogis’ turn-by-turn navigation, resource tracking and route optimization for Mobile Resource Management (MRM) and logistics solutions globally.
