Take Supply Chain Releases Upgrade for Supply Chain Software
- Posted on 29 December 2009
Take Supply Chain has released Xtended Process Control (X.PC) 5.7d, an upgrade to the company's software that accelerates and streamlines supplier collaboration. It extends lean processes by connecting manufacturers and distributors with supply chain partners worldwide to procure goods and services.
The upgrade includes a variety of features and modules that improve operational efficiencies and user experiences, including:
· Web labels, which enable the printing of Package Tracking Numbers (PTN) and Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) labels without a dedicated label printer;
· A quick search toolbar, which quickly finds and jumps to POs, invoices, shipments, or quality documents by displaying a dynamic list of search results, eliminating the need to execute multiple queries;
· An Engineering Quality Collaboration module, which manages the workflow of supplier deviation requests and corrective actions;
· An expanded Accounts Payable module that allows suppliers to create credits as well as invoices, print Invoice PDFs, and view invoice holds;
The solution enables organizations to reduce inventory discrepancies by better managing the freight of inbound material and control visibility to all parts not normally tracked in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), as well as ensure product quality through part non-conformance.
