SSI Schaefer Awards University Scholarships in Malaysia

SSI Schaefer has awarded scholarships for local students to pursue their tertiary education in public universities in Malaysia. The two recipients of the scholarships are Ahmad Faaris Bin Mohd Khair, who is pursuing a mechanical engineering degree at University Teknologi MARA and Tee Chin Wee, a mechanical engineering undergraduate of University Teknologi Melaka Malaysia.

An award ceremony was conducted at SSI Schaefer’s Malaysia factory where the undergraduates received funding of RM8,000 (US$2,384 ) each per academic year.

The Scholarship was presented by Brian Miles, MD of SSI Schaefer Asia Pacific/Middle East operations. The ceremony was also witnessed by local dignitaries, among them The Honourable Member of Parliament, Simpang Renggam, Liang Teck Meng.
