AVICOPTER, a division of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) has invested 800 million Euros in a new helicopter factory and research center in the Northern city of Tianjin, where the exposition is held.

Since 2009, SDV has an office and a warehouse in this area. Entirely dedicated to aerospace business development in China, SDV Logistics (Tianjin) Co. has the expertise and the infrastructure to support this booming industry sector. Indeed, today only 200 helicopters are in use in China. Obviously this figure doesn't match China's current status in the world and the potential of this market is significant.

Customers and suppliers have the opportunity to meet the managers of the SDV Aerospace team from Asia Pacific and Europe. The Aerospace sector expert force of SDV represents 800 specialists operating within a network of SDV platforms located at all major hubs such as Sydney, Singapore, Shanghai, London, Paris, Dubai, Los Angeles and New York.

To cover the upstream and downstream aerospace supply-chain, SDV implements solutions with extensive expertise supported by efficient IT systems. The flow management is optimized on a cost and time basis and provides real-time visibility of operations.

SDV's strength in aerospace logistics is defined by:

  • Proven expertise in Customs (classification and regimes, regulations) and regulatory compliance (dual use items regulations, ITAR licenses).
  • After-sales support: new models aiming at optimizing costs and reducing delivery time of spare parts, synchronized with serviceable parts delivery to the end user.
