Savi Launches Supply Chain Wireless Tracking Device

Savi Technology has announced the availability of its first asset and shipment monitoring device that combines a Global Positioning System (GPS), active Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and satellite communications.

The hybrid ST-694 GlobalTag provides defense, public sector and commercial customers with continuous monitoring and precise location information of supply chain assets almost anytime and anywhere, including areas where there is no terrestrial reader infrastructure.

The GlobalTag tracking technology, which has been co-developed, tested and trialed with M2M (Machine-to-Machine) solution and service provider Numerex Corp, is available for pilot field operations.
