PICK-TO-LIGHT SOLUTION

The i-Pick from SSI Schaefer targets users looking for a cost-effective, entrylevel pick-to-light picking solution to increase warehouse efficiency. The system is particularly suited for facilities with dedicated areas for picking/kitting of several hundred products where high accuracy and productivity are required.
As a stand-alone pick-to-light system, it can be retrofitted to existing racking or shelving such that the entire warehouse or simply parts of it can be equipped to manage the picking process faster, more efficiently and reliably. It can also be integrated into any existing warehouse management system (WMS).
According to Schaefer, the user can install the i-Pick package without any special IT knowledge, with the help of a carefullydesigned graphical user interface on a standard touch panel PC. The system handles connection to an order database and the assignment of storage position.
