Panalpina Selected by Samsung for Freight and Warehousing

Samsung Panama has selected Panalpina to handle most of the former's Full Container Load (FCL) ocean freight traffic from Asia Pacific to Panama in 2010. Samsung estimates to handle 1,500 to 2,000 Twenty Foot Equivalent Units (TEU) with Panalpina this year.

In addition, the former has awarded the latter a three-year extension contract for the former's warehouse operation in the Colon free trade zone with approximately 8,000 sq meters.

Samsung also contracts Panalpina to handle direct deliveries from their factories in Asia and North America (including Mexico) to Central and South America.
