Optimera Gruppen Selects JDA for Inventory Management

Optimera Gruppen, a Norwegian building supplies and services retailer, has licensed JDA Advanced Warehouse Replenishment (AWR) and JDA Advanced Store Replenishment (ASR) to gain a competitive advantage with improved inventory management strategies that will drive greater profitability.
The ability to create an optimized, multi-level replenishment plan using AWR and ASR will help Optimera to increase sales with improved product availability, reduce obsolescence costs and decrease in-store and warehouse stock levels. Results achieved by other companies using these solutions include a 60-percent reduction in overstocks, a 20-percent reduction in weeks of supply and a 42-percent increase in inventory turns.
