LONG RANGE, WIRELESS SCANNING
The PowerScan PBT7100 industrial handheld linear bar code imager from Datalogic Scanning targets highvolume mobile industrial applications at instinctive as well as long range reading distances. Bluetooth wireless technology (2.0 Class 1 radio) allows cordless data capture, with mobile reading up to 100 m distance and memory storage for out-of-range transactions.
Patented Green Spot technology provides intuitive code positioning and visual confi rmation of a “good read”, which is useful when working in noisy environments, improves user experience, and increases the speed of scanning operations. The PBT7100’s decoder can read up to 390 scans per second, making it suitable for sorting, postal and logistics applications.
The Li-ION battery scans over 22,000 transactions in 16 hours, guaranteeing complete coverage for at least two eight-hour shifts. An optional “pulsing” Aimer with Timeout Feature improves performance when reading bar codes at long distances.
