Kuehne + Nagel to Manage National Distribution Center in China

Gigaset Communications has appointed Kuehne + Nagel to manage the former’s national distribution center in Shanghai. In addition, the logistics provider is responsible for domestic warehousing and distribution services for the entire range of Siemens-Gigaset-branded cordless phone products in the Chinese sales market.

The agreement is being implemented at Kuehne + Nagel’s logistics center in Baoshan district of Shanghai. From the shared facility, Kuehne + Nagel is in charge of unloading and inspecting Gigaset’s shipments from Germany, storage, order picking, dispatch preparation and national distribution to more than 100 destinations

across the country.

Other services encompass central management of spare parts for national-wide returns and repairs as well as tracking and tracing of products.
