Kuehne + Nagel’s Asia-Pacific Network Now Includes the Maldives

Kuehne + Nagel is the first international logistics provider to operate a wholly owned subsidiary in the Republic of Maldives. In mid-February 2008, the company opened two offices on Malé and Gan. This expansion strengthens Kuehne + Nagel’s network in the Asia-Pacific region, which now spans 141 locations in 21 countries.

The island nation is home to more than 100 hotels and resorts, and is one of the key exporters of fresh and aquarium fish. Kuehne + Nagel’s new national company specifically caters to the requirements of the hospitality industry, providing comprehensive hotel and beverage logistics solutions across the Maldives, as well as general imports of consumer goods, international sea- and airfreight services, warehousing, project management, and emergency and relief logistics.
