JDA Selected by Silicon Image for Integrated Supply Chain Management

JDA Software Group has announced that Silicon Image has selected Planning On Demand, a solution developed by i2 Technologies, to drive integrated demand and supply planning across its global supply chain. Silicon Image is a provider of semiconductor and intellectual property products for the secure distribution, presentation and storage of high-definition content.

Planning On Demand, a sophisticated demand and supply planning software-as-a-service offering, enables companies to increase forecast accuracy and customer delivery performance, while optimizing investments in inventory.

Since the software is hosted by JDA, the production system is already mobilized for deployment at the start of the project. The non-intrusive, structured eight-week implementation cycle enables customers to reap returns on their investment faster than traditional software deployments.
