Finpro Selects Kuehne + Nagel for Shanghai World Expo

Taking place between May 1 and October 31, World Expo 2010 is expected to cover over 500 hectares in Shanghai with the aim of attracting 70 million visitors. Finland’s pavilion “Kirnu”, will be the largest in its history, covering around 3,000 sq meters.

With air and seafreight shipments already begun, Kuehne + Nagel will be transporting equipment, tools and hospitality material to and from Finland, and coordinating cross-trade shipments between additional countries.

Finpro will benefit from Kuehne + Nagel’s expo service offering, which provides tailor-made door-to-door transport and on-site logistics solutions with staff to ensure the delivery of goods to tight schedules set by the World Expo, including fixed delivery windows.
