DB Schenker Appointed by Hagemeyer for Freight Forwarding in Australia

Schenker Australia has been appointed as international freight forwarding and customs clearance partner for Hagemeyer Brands Australia (HBA) and will implement an in-bound supply chain for the consumer electrical & appliance products distributed by the latter. These include brands such as Blanco, DeDietrich, Omega Altise, JVC, Omega and Smeg.

The contract includes in-bound transportation services for products from Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Singapore, and Malaysia to various locations within Australia. DB Schenker will import more than 4,000 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) via ocean freight and more than 30 tonnes via airfreight.
