Back for the 9th edition, RFID World Asia is Asia’s dedicated platform for various industry verticals looking for solutions to improve manufacturing & operational efficiency, supply chain efficiency, increase productivity, minimise theft and improve customer service, through the adoption of RFID technologies.

To be co-located with seven other synergistic events (Cards & Payments Asia, Prepaid Cards Asia, Near Field Communication World Asia, Retail World Asia, Online Retail World Asia, Digital Signage World Asia and Digital ID World Asia) over a three day period, RFID World Asia is expected to attract about 8,000 trade attendees from the region.

According to a recent upbeat report from Frost & Sullivan, the global RFID market is expected to witness a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 12 percent until 2016. It’s also expected to earn revenues of over US$250 million by 2016 up from over $80 million in 2008. This stark growth is further supported by the many RFID initiatives that are sprouting across the Asia Pacific region for example the adoption of RFID technologies in construction and industrial manufacturing, natural disasters recovery and management, waste management and retail management.

Besides the trade exhibition, top guns of the RFID industry are expected to gather at RFID World Asia conference to demonstrate their thought leadership, showcase their latest technological RFID solutions, and benefit from it as a sourcing platform. A total of 40 case studies are expected to be shared and discussed during the high-level conference.

Highlights of RFID World Asia 2012 conference and exhibition include:

• Four new vertical focus: Aviation, construction, energy, oil and gas

• Dedicated ‘Application Zones’ showcasing specific products and solutions

• Strategic workshops and intensive clinics for end-user education and partner networking
