Aspen Technology Selected by Cabot Corp. to Enhance Global Supply Chain Systems

Aspen Technology has announced that Cabot Corporation selected AspenTech’s aspenONE software to improve its scheduling applications. Cabot is expanding its use of the aspenONE Manufacturing suite to include aspenONE Supply Chain to help drive the company’s strategic initiatives in streamlining supply chain processes, improve customer responsiveness, lower inventory and improve manufacturing productivity.

By using AspenTech’s aspenONE supply chain solution, Cabot and other aspenONE customers are better equipped to predict and respond to customer demands, economically plan across global assets and optimize production. Additionally, customers using this aspenONE suite can support dynamic scheduling using the tight integration between manufacturing and supply chain processes to provide real-time input for plan versus actual management.
