HIGH STORAGE ORDER PICKING SYSTEM

The Dematic Multishuttle is a highly dynamic order picking system with consistently automated flow of containers, which ensures storage of article containers, their supply and subsequent buffering. Lightweight, independent shuttles operating on each level in the racking enable extremely high storage capacity and optimised storage/retrieval cycles. And the shuttles replenish picking stations of the split-case picking module directly from the racking aisles in the warehouse. This way, the shuttles perform the functions of a storage and retrieval machine as well as of overhead travelling conveyor assemblies outside the warehouse unit.

The automatic multi-shuttles also transport the containers with the picked articles from individual stations back to the high-bay warehouse, providing optimized allocation of picked and completed containers to automatically load onto dispatch pallets with sequential retrieval.
