Colruyt Opts for Efficient Warehouse Management

With over 190 branches, 16,599 employees (2006) and an annual turnover of € 4.5 billion, the Colruyt Group is one of Belgium’s leading discount food retailers. In order to efficiently manage its varied range of 15,000 products, it became necessary to fully automate the company’s existing warehouse at its headquarters in Halle, Belgium. KNAPP, in association with Dolmen IP, has landed the order to install an innovative OSR 32 storage and sorting system. The contract is worth approximately €1.7 million.
