The Raymond Corporation introduces three online calculators to help materials handling professionals improve efficiency and decrease operating costs. By inputting real operations data, users immediately receive information to help make better-informed purchasing decisions.

The calculators include:

ACR Calculator
Provides estimated cost savings related to battery costs and changing times by switching from a DC-powered reach truck to a Raymond Reach-Fork truck equipped with the efficient ACR System.

Reach Truck Performance Calculator
Calculates the pallets moved per hour and cost per pallet moved to determine the productivity of Raymond Reach-Fork trucks in a facility based on warehouse-specific data.

Space Utilization Guide
Demonstrates how to “maximize the cube” by determining the number of additional pallets that can be stored in less space by switching to narrow aisle and very narrow aisle lift trucks.

Also available on the Raymond Web site are the Uptime/Reliability Guide and the Cost of Ownership and Operation Calculator.

The Uptime/Reliability Guide helps users estimate the cost of unscheduled maintenance by calculating total uptime per lift truck, while the Cost of Ownership and Operation Calculator estimates the total cost of operating a lift truck fleet to help manage maintenance costs.
