CarbonView was selected by a panel of over 50 independent judges for addressing the key selection criteria of innovation, performance and potential. The award was presented at a gala ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney.

“CarbonView is a smartly packaged solution for enterprise carbon accounting that appears extremely well positioned in to appropriately support global concerns for carbon footprint control,” said Julian Day, managing director of Consensus Pty Ltd.

“Its market timing is excellent given that legislation and international agreements are likely to be adopted world wide. This tool is not only comprehensive, but clever and attractive, and may well underpin adoption of global accounting standards in both enterprises and regulators for a critically important environmental need,” said Day.

CarbonView helps organizations calculate their greenhouse gas emission data, and find ways to reduce it. CarbonView delivers greenhouse gas emission reporting, fully compliant with the Australian Climate Change legislation, on a company level, a process level or even on a product level.

“We are very pleased to receive this prestigious award, which recognises the importance of being able to accurately measure and monitor emissions from both a financial and carbon perspective. This award also validates our ongoing efforts to create software and best practices that enable companies to make a start with new carbon reporting responsibilities and potentially achieve further efficiencies across all aspects of their business,” said Fadi Geha, Executive Vice President, CarbonView and Viewlocity at Supply Chain Consulting.

Now in its ninth year, the Consensus Software Awards recognize the most innovative software solutions designed and developed in Australia and New Zealand.
