New Customs Regulations for Shipments to Chile

Logistics Asia - Industry News, 29/4/2008

New customs regulations have been introduced for shipments into Chile. Shippers must now include the consignee’s Tax Identification Number (RUT) on the air waybill (under description section) and the commercial invoice for non-document shipments. If the RUT number is not included it could result in clearance delays.
