ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION
The Society’s official training partner Turning Point Education Group recently earned ISO 9001:2000 status. With this certification, students enrolled in a course of study through the Society enjoy two benefits: they attend a Singapore Ministry of Education-registered school that is backed both by CaseTRUST and an organization that has earned an internationally-recognized quality benchmark.
NEW EX-COM AT NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC
The Society’s student chapter in Ngee Ann Polytechnic recently had a changeover of its executive committee. The new team consists of students in their first, second and third year of study. Its term begins April 2008.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s student chapter has been extremely active. We believe that we will see many leading logisticians joining the professional workforce from this excellent base of well-rounded and academically-qualified individuals. L&SCMS wishes to thank the outgoing committee and the outgoing president Ivan Lim for all their efforts in 2006 and 2007 and we look forward to working closely with the new executive committee in 2008.
