SICAL LOGISTICS STARTS CONSTRUCTION AT INDIA AIRPORT

Sical Logistics has started work on the Nagpur Sical Gupta Road Terminal with a groundbreaking ceremony at the Multimodal International Hub Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN).

The Indian provider of integrated multi-modal logistics solutions for bulk and containerized cargo and offshore logistics said the foundation stone was laid by Shri Villas Muttemwar, minister of New & Renewable Energy, Government of India.

Sical, MADC and Gupta Coal have a respective 51 percent, 26 percent and 23 percent stake in Nagpur Sical Gupta Road Terminal. They will build, operate and manage the road terminal. The total project cost is estimated to be US$29.8 million.

The road terminal will stretch across a 60-hectare plot and have parking facilities for 1,150 vehicles (including multiaxle vehicles), 46,451 square meters of warehousing space, 15 hectares of open plots and 4,180 square meters of cold storage.
