Oracle to Address Global Retail Industry Strategies for Competing in Emerging Markets

Oracle will participate in the 2nd annual World Retail Congress, being held in Barcelona, April 9-11.

Oracle's session on 'The emerging market retailer: how retailers in the new retail markets are creating winning strategies' will host a panel of Oracle customers including: Mehmet Nane, CEO of Turkish electronics retailer, Teknosa; Thameem Rizvon, IT Director of Middle Eastern multi-channel retail group, Kamal Osman Jamjoom; Bernie Brookes, CEO of Australian department store retailer, Myer; and Sumant Sinha, CEO of Indian retail group, Aditya Birla Retail Ltd.

The Company’s Vice President of Global Retail Marketing Sean Ford will host the panel session on Thursday, April 10 at 4:30 p.m. The session will deliver fresh thinking around strategies for competing effectively in emerging markets and impart valuable insight into customer-centric strategies, operational excellence and investment in innovative technologies.
