Wavetrend Hires Senior Vice President - Product Development

Wavetrend Technologies Ltd, a leader in the deployment of active RFID Solutions, announced recently that Edward Gonsalves has joined its executive team as Senior Vice President - Product Development. Gonsalves has been in the semiconductor and high technology industry for more than 25 years, holding a variety of positions in engineering, marketing, sales and business development. He Gonsalves joins Wavetrend after a successful five-year career at NXP Semiconductors (formerly Philips Semiconductors). He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in its Department of Management. He is an authority in the RFID field and has spoken at many industry trade and conference events.
