Manhattan Associates Announces Manhattan SCOPE for Optimizing Supply Chains from Planning Through Execution

Logistics Insight Asia - Technology & Market Trends, 24/1/2008

A complete range of solutions leverages the industry’s only Supply Chain Process Platform to enable cross-application optimization within organizations and across supply chain ecosystems.

Global supply chain optimization provider Manhattan Associates has announced its Manhattan SCOPE, considered the first comprehensive portfolio of solutions and technology leveraging a common Supply Chain Process Platform to optimize supply chains holistically.

In addition to predictive technologies and unique algorithms that improve performance, SCOPE’s Supply Chain Process Platform houses an optimization engine that enables data, events and workflows in different solutions to inform each other, and enact changes in each other’s operations when circumstances warrant. This capability elevates optimization from limited approaches within functional solutions to true cross-application optimization. In siloed optimization approaches, attempts to improve one area of the supply chain, such as Transportation, might have negative impacts in another area, such as Inventory, that outweigh any gains made in Transportation. SCOPE’s optimization range also extends across an organization’s supply chain ecosystem of suppliers, partners, transporters, distributors and channels.

In addition to the Supply Chain Process Platform, the SCOPE portfolio includes: Five Supply Chain Solution Suites of Planning and Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Order Lifecycle Management, Transportation Lifecycle Management and Distribution Management; Platform Applications that deliver Event Management, Supply Chain Intelligence and Visibility across Solution Suites; and X-Suite Solutions that combine solutions and/or solution components to address specific supply chain challenges.
