GRIFFIN KINETIC CELEBRATES 21 YEARS

Critical logistics specialist Griffin Kinetic (GK) marked its 21st anniversary on September 9 with a gala dinner at Singapore’s Shangri-La Hotel, The event was also used to launch the company’s new brand identity as GKLOG.

Ted Tan, deputy chief executive of Spring Singapore and Guest of Honor, noted: “Because of its specialized services and expertise, Griffin has been able to compete in the global arena, with the likes of multinational logistics companies such as Schenker Logistics and Kuehne & Nagel, in the area of marine and off shore logistics.”
GK claims a clientele in excess of 2,000 companies, a database of 8,500 vessels globally, and connects clients with 1,500 airports and commercial ports in more than 150 countries and geographical locations globally. It has also moved into specialized logistics services for the Pharmaceutical and Biotech sectors, which it views as natural progression from its traditional marine business, as both involve critical logistics.
Leveraging on its Good Transportation Practice (GTP), GK says it has embarked on a mission to train its staff with the necessary skills to handle temperature sensitive and high valued products and the proper treatment of hazardous substances and “is ready to attract and support world class pharmaceutical companies based in Singapore”.
