LXE Announces MX9 Handheld Terminal for Port Market

LXE has unveiled the MX9 rugged handheld computer for the port logistics environment. The handheld computer is designed for use in a variety of port and intermodal applications.
It features an outdoor display, 62-key and 38-key back-light keypad options, built-in GPS positional location, 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR communications and rugged packaging. The computer also comes standard with LXE`s Toughtalk technology, supporting voice-recognition applications.
The handheld computer`s design for multiple drops to concrete of two meters and water and dust rating of IP 67 make it ideal for port and intermodal logistics.
General availability for the MX9 is scheduled for August 15, 2009.
