UPS RESHUFFLES ASIA EXECUTIVES

Triggered by the retirement of Andy Connelly, senior vice president of South District, Asia Pacific, UPS has announced new positions for four senior executives in the region.

Succeeding Connelly in UPS South District is Craig Foster, who will assume overall responsibilities for UPS package and supply chain operations in 29 countries in Asia, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Mary Yeo, managing director of UPS Singapore for the past nine years has been appointed vice president of supply chain operations for UPS South District, filling the position previously held by Foster.
Taking Yeo’s position will be Gillian Sim, currently vice president of supply chain operations at UPS North District, Asia Pacific region, who will be responsible for the strategic management of UPS’s business in Singapore. Sim was previously managing director of UPS Philippines from 2005 to 2006, and UPS Malaysia from 2001 to 2003.
Finally, succeeding Sim at UPS North District is Lancelot Lee, currently Director of UPS North China. Lee will be responsible for leading UPS’ supply chain operations in Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
